This old fashioned beach kiosk has been trading for almost a century! So it’s only right that we serve the finest hand made farmhouse ice cream, real dairy whippy ice cream, small batch locally roasted artisan coffee, fresh home made cakes, sandwiches, panini’s, milkshakes, mr whippy Ice Cream & more!
All made with love on the Suffolk Coast using quality local produce… which means we’re also kinder to the planet.
Walton Castle
Walton Castle is part of our coastline at The Dip — a Roman fort built to defend this stretch of Suffolk nearly 1,700 years ago. Though much of it has been claimed by the sea, fragments still appear offshore at low tide. Read more about its history and the story of what remains.

Felixstowe Beach Hut Hire
Our newly refurbed Felixstowe beach hut is available for day rental.
Located at ‘The Dip’ in Old Felixstowe, just 80 yards away from the Dip Kiosk, ice cream shop and toilets and a mere 20m away from the beach and sea.
Refurbed with reclaimed upcycled materials, the hut’s kitchenette has a kettle, prep space, sink with foot pump running water (cannister not mains!). With luxury reclining chairs and dining table and chairs for eating Al Fresco! Not to mention a comfy sofa, BBQ, and voile curtain for extra privacy.
